Descriptions We are here to help people that have been in disasters. On our website, people can donate money to our cause. This money is used to buy things like medical equipment, shelters and food for people in need. We will be there to help whenever and where ever it is needed. We are a non-profit company that started in a garage. We have raised over 30 billion dollars that is used each day after a disaster. We are here to help anyone in need that is caused from a disaster. We also give the most money out of every dollar donated to the people in need. Out of every one dollar 95 cents are donated to help.

Goal Our goal for this nonprofit organization is to be able to allow relief to all the people in need. We are here to help people who loose everything during natural disasters. Our goal for the rest of this organization is to raise enough money to help all the people of the nation even if it takes a few millions. Now we hope to save enough money to help the people in Japan. They had a massive tsunami and earthquake that devastated the whole country.
Background and History Our web-based organization started back in the 1990’s. After seeing the tornado disaster in Illinois in 1990 on T.V. we felt we needed to help. After donating hundreds of our own money, we bought a website. This website was made so people who wanted to reach out and help, could without going to the site of the disaster.
Success Stories Last year during the earthquake in Haiti we raised over 9 million dollars to help all the people in need. The money went to making shelters, food, and medical equipment. For the Gulf disaster, we raised 4 million dollars to clean up the mess and try and find solutions to the leak. We were also their for the Chilean earthquake raising money for all the people. We provided them with tents, food, and reconstruction. We sent our volunteers to help the doctors by getting supplies and cleaning up.
Future Projects- We are thinking of making tents with solar panels in order to conserve energy to better help the environment and to reduce costs. That way we can help those around more. our funds will be used to deliver food and water to those whom have been affected by earthquakes, floods, hurricanes ext.
Volunteers - We have had many different volunteers. Most of them are from the ages of 20 to 40. These volunteers do a number of jobs. Some of these jobs are sending supplies to the areas that need help. Other volunteers are used to raise money in their community and help at charity organizations. We are a non profit organization and many of our regular time workers love to help people. They are running on a lower salary that people like them in other organizations like the Red Cross. This allows us to put 95 cents out of every dollar to helping the people in need.
